What is SquatCrunch?
This is not a blawg, or even a blog. This site does use a popular-as-advertised ‘blog’ application, but we started using it quite some time ago for simple content management (CMS), and not to ’start blogging’.

Some may find the information here useful. If so, we are happy about that. Thanks for stumbling in.

Dec 31, 2006

Today, we reached the end of teh intarweb.

The Auto-discovery OPML outline file is back.

There is something comforting about the PlainTxtBlog theme, it is back too. We are using a modified version of the theme.

Still trying to recover from a database mishap. Our highest ranked page is now ‘404 not found’. Permalinks broke. Most of the archives are OK, but we are back to using the WP default links, and that is where they will likely stay.

While visiting us, just start at the top on the main page, pray, then do squats and a little crunch-ing. Group feedback please.

Nov 11, 2006

Added an auto-discovery enabled OPML outline of RSS feeds to the site. If you have the OPML Reader extension for Firefox, you can view any site’s enabled OPML file/outline from the browser. If a site you are browsing has an enabled OPML outline, the extension icon in the lower right corner of Firefox will be blue. Just click it. Group feedback please.

Dealing with some database hiccups the past few days. Still trying to update the archives. Lost some comments. Perm-a-links, what perm-a-links? To those in the group, please report any issues via feedback.

Nov 7, 2006

Hey, we voted today. I hope a higher percentage than usual for a mid-term election did as well. The archive updates are still ongoing. For those in the group, please send feedback. Squat and crunch time!

Nov 5, 2006

Oops, we did it again. Breaking things while crunching squat today. If it ain’t broke, then tweak it until it is! We apologize to the group and all ‘three’ of our unknown readers.

Hope all is restored and your page views are back to normal. Drop a line if you experience difficulty navigating the site. Breathe in, breathe out and do a few squats. Group feedback please.

No more drivel here at SquatCrunch, just pure crunch. You must be lost. As of today we are “Crunching Squat, and popping corn”. For those in the group, you can submit your feedback for discussion via email.

Mostly we are crunching some data, but when we get really exicted about something, well then we ‘Squat and Crunch’ … some popcorn. It is easier than doing a cardio pace with squats, oblique twists, and side crunches.

May 03, 2006

We were messing around with some of the files, and well oops. Sure was fun getting things back in order! Hope all is restored as of this date? Group feedback please.

May 01, 2006

Changed the theme back to PlainTxtBlog and doing some testing.

April 15, 2006

Experimenting with several themes. What you see is what you get. Squatters rights.

Apr 13, 2006

Imported the posts we wanted to save from a test Wordpress.com site. None of the comments for those posts were imported. Wordpress imports a comments xml file into the posts table. The few comments that were there, did not make the trip over. Not a big deal.

Apr 12, 2006

Trying out the PlainTxtBlog theme.

Apr 11, 2006
